2. Data processed by the app
When you choose to import them, MockApp processes images and videos together with project data, including text, watermarks, palettes, effects, and composition settings. This information is used only to create previews, mockups, and exports.
Processing takes place on your device. Version 1.0 has no user accounts, cloud backend, advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
3. Photos, Files, and the clipboard
The system photo picker lets you select individual items without granting broad access to your photo library. Add-only permission is requested only when you choose “Save to Photos.”
Files and clipboard contents are read only after an explicit action from you.
4. Storage and deletion
Projects and local copies of media remain in the app’s private storage until you delete the project or uninstall MockApp. Deleting a project also removes its associated local media.
Exported files remain in the destination you selected and must be deleted from Photos, Files, or the destination app.
5. Exporting and sharing
A file leaves MockApp only after an explicit action, such as copying, saving to Photos, exporting, or using the Share sheet. Your chosen destinations apply their own privacy policies.
6. Data processed by mockapp.it
The website does not use accounts, non-essential cookies, analytics, profiling, or advertising. The server may temporarily record your IP address, user agent, requested URL, date, and response status in technical logs required for security and reliability.
To remember your language choice, the website stores one essential cookie named mockapp_locale for up to one year. It contains only the selected language code and is not used for analytics or tracking.
Technical logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to create profiles or track your browsing across other websites.
7. Third-party services
MockApp uses Apple system frameworks for Photos, Files, sharing, and media. The website loads fonts, images, and code exclusively from its own domain and includes no third-party trackers.
8. Children and security
MockApp is not specifically intended for children and does not participate in the Kids category. Local data is protected by the app sandbox and the operating system’s security measures.
9. Your choices and rights
You can delete projects in the app, revoke Photos permission in Settings, and uninstall MockApp to remove local data. For requests relating to website logs or support communications, contact infor@boscolo.io.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, the website, or applicable law. The date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
